This an invitation to all who love Our Lady according to the special manner in which she showed herself to the world at La Salette in September of 1846. After a few years of sending messages and updates to those who attended La Salette mission schools in the Philippines, we have
decided to be more universal and open our spirituality to everyone. This first post on the blog "Salettinian" in the year 2011is the entry to our world, the world of the Weeping Mother. Those of you who receive this first offering as urged to forward it to your friends and acquaintances so that all may come to know that the Mother they came to know and admire during their school years at a La Salette school is calling everybody to her side. She is talking to us all, asking us to stay close to her and to her Son, Jesus. She is asking us to "Make this known to all my people." Come and join us.
Stay by our side. Share the love of Our Mother with your family and friends. Pray together with us each and every day as we all prayed as we were taught the "Memorare" of Our Lady of La Salette, found below.

A word about the La Salette Lay Associates
"The La Salette Lay Associate Program consists of groups of men and women committed to Jesus's mission of reconciliation proclaimed in Mary's message at La Salette. As a people of God, we are called in communion of spirit with the Missionaries of La Salette to bring love, healing, justice and acceptance through our personal lives, our prayer, our spirituality, and our group activities to "all my people"."
VISION:
The La Salette Associate Program will consist of diverse groups throughout the Province of Mary Mother of the Americas flowing from and linked by the charism and message of Mary at La Salette.
==========================
At this time there are La Salette Associate Groups in Attleboro, MA; Enfield, NH; Laconia/Belmont, NH; New Bedford, MA; St. Louis, MO. There is a group in the mustard seed stage in Southern California. There are two people there who know La Salette very well. They are the seed from which it is hoped that a large bush will blossom.
The annual community meeting of the Lay Associates was held in October 2010 at the Shrine of Our Lady in Attleboro, MA. There were some twenty-five members in attendance, representing all the existing active groups of Associates plus the two representatives from California. Spiritually, it was impressive. Socially, it was fraternally satisfying and uplifting.
Before leaving the meeting room, the community made a commitment to prayer to which you are all invited. It was decided that all members of the Lay Associates would recite the Memorare of Our Lady of La Salette every day, at least once, in solidarity and communion with all the La Salettes around the world. We invite you to join us. Here is the prayer:
Remember, Our Lady of La Salette, true Mother of Sorrows, the tears you shed for me on Calvary. Remember also the care you have always taken to keep me faithful to Christ, your son. After having done so much for your child, you will not abandon me. Inspired by this consoling thought, I come to cast myself at your feet in spite of my infidelities and ingratitude. Do not reject my prayer, O merciful Virgin, but intercede for my conversion, obtain for me the grace to love Jesus above all things, and to console you by a holy life, that I may one day see you in heaven, AMEN. V/ Our Lady of La Salette, Reconciler of sinners. R/ Pray without ceasing for those who have recourse to thee.
We invite you all to pray with us. Communicate with us by writing comments or by direct email at Salettinian@yahoo.com
