RARE HOLY FAMILY |
Since there is no Sunday within the Octave of Christmas this year, today is the feast of the Holy Family. It is important for us to reflect on the story that is told in the Gospel of the Mass of the day. We consider the old law of "Exodus, Luke mentions that the first son born into a family must be redeemed, not sacrificed. As Isaac was saved by the goat in the bush, Jesus was redeemed by two turtle doves. the Torah has always saved the first human male and the first male of the ass.
Jesus lived in a traditional family, but ultimately it was He himself who, through His sacrifice, saved the community of his brothers. God, thank you.
Dios, gracias.
